What are the clearance lights then dude?
edit: I'm guessing they are so you know how far you are from walls etc by watching the light pattern change/they mark out the 4 corners of the vehicle?

side markers are the front indicators and clearence lights are the side lights
thats gay about the clearance lights. a lot of uk cars have side markers now, new beemers etc
