    ok i will have a look on my digi dash tranducer 2morrow for you, defro three wires 1 is earth 1 is ign live and the other goes to digi dash

    right if you hold the transducer so the little bit that sticks in is at the bottom.
    The above one is black.
    Left is blue/red
    right is earth/brown.

    To repeat what a few others have said, some Novas (and presumably a few other Vauxhalls) use an electronic speedo sender which shares the same 3 pin plug. Have a quick browse in a scrapyard to see if you can find one.

    I may have a spare so I'll take a look later to see if I can help you out.

    Hooray it's your lucky day, found one in my garage. It has a few cm of wire left, enough to solder/crimp connections to. PM me or add me to MSN Messenger (address in my profile).

    Most cavs and astra have the same plug on the front central locking micro switch plugs. the ones on the back of the locks
