On the 9pin black plug you wired the engine up with, there will be a brown/yellow wire, put that that to earth. And turn the ignition on

ah thats great cheers. and how do i know what sensor has gone. the light keeps flashing dont it? is it so many flashes to each code?
Depends on the age of the engine.
Some flash 2 digit codes, others flash 4 digit ones.
If its a 2 digit setup it will start with an initiation code(12 iirc)
