For sale, Vauxhall C20XE red top, 2.0, Forged Accralite pistons, steel conrods & ARP bolts, ported head with modified valves, piper cams with vernier pullys, webber...
Deffo head work next. The cams aren't worth upgrading unless your going to pocket the pistons and do it proper. You would get more benefit putting the likes of a DTA on there than cams on standard...
Phazer what have you got the final rev limit set at on your DTA? Just curious because of a message I got on ours. Any more revs than 6900rpm and it basically pops up a fail safe box.
It states the...
Graham yes they are the correct ones ARP 109-6002 - M8X1.25MM
I was going to ask what ECU you are running. Some standalone management systems don't like IAC valves. The likes of DTA can only use for example one that was found on a C20XE the one that is on a...
K3 GSXR Throttle bodies. Standard injectors were OK for said car as they flow 240cc and the engine was a 1600. I removed the secondary butterfly's as they weren't needed.
I May have had some R6...
Its just what the bloke who mapped the car said. We tried to put the fuel in the ECU that the engine would need and it spat its dummy out saying the injectors couldn't supply enough fuel at given...

No mate I gave up in the end lol.
Yes they had done a good job... of the top end above 50% throttle it was spot on and the lambda removed a max of 5% fuel and about 85% throttle it removed and...

The Mrs had a red 1.0 MK1 as her first car when I met her 7 years ago.
We then as you do had other cars including a concourse spec S2 RS Turbo that got nicked and never recovered. I said she was...
I drilled and tapped the blank end of my fuel rail when fitting these then machined a nipple down to connect a FPR and return feed pipe. Worked that's how other people do it.
Save yourself some money on all the throttle body stuff etc. Get something like a SCCR gearbox and whack that in and it will make hell of a difference cheaper than all the other stuff mentioned....
Some brilliant pics there Graham. You have the Corsa A/Nova looking awesome. Really like the scoda 130 RS They are a pretty nice looking car.... For a Skoda!
Yes!
The Mrs got hers out last night......
BHP isn't everything its made out to be...... Pub talk and nothing else.
We run a 90% locked Gripper diff in a 205 rallye and it knocks like mad on a road section for example pulling out of a T junction at normal speeds clunk clunk clunk, Sounds like it going to break....
I believe have to drive them trans-x diffs with aggression same as the gripper ones throw it in plant the throttle and let the diff do the work and drag you out the Sh*t so to speak!!! Totally...
