Im nearly through my mk2 to mk1 transformation and i only really have the rear bumper to sort out.
I know the fittings are different on the 2 bumpers but was wondering if any one had done...
Surely it would work out easier and cheaper just to buy a set of 40's then hunt down an air box?
I paid 200 for my 40's and they were freshly rebuilt.
Is the gsi gear sticky assembly complete from gear stick to gearbox if that makes sense?
I want to convert mine from 4 speed to 5 speed so I'm after 5 the complete lot.

I haven't gone for the front trim anyway as it's not a noticeable difference. Just bought the rears :)

Hmm... The plot thickens . I planned on bonding them on it that makes any difference?
That's what I always thought. But read somewhere that some one was struggling to find gsi rubber so they could fit the surrounds!

I've just bought some rear window surrounds from a gsi and I just assumed I could use the standard rubbers, am I right or do I need gte/gsi ones?

It's just a stop gap for my 1.2 engine as am tired of looking at the gsi clocks and the gauge not working.
I did think there might be different pressure switches. It's a shame there's no 8v cav's...
