Offset, even if it is out by quite a long way from the ideal, won't cause wheel wobble or vibration.
My 17's on the Cav are ET37 (far from ideal) but they cause no vibration at all.
The only...
I've had the same probs in the past with different Novas (and my current Cav)
One thing that sprung to mind was damp ignition....then I thought carb freezing but since you have a GSi, you won't...
Shorty....since you had no probs before you fitted the alloys, it's obviously nothing to do with your car and has to be the alloys.
Have 'em balanced and if they're not bent or buckled, they...
Dents in the roof could just be due to kids playing football in the street though!
I know my GTE got at least one that way! graaa
P.S. Just relaised that in my first post on this thread, I said I was looking for a lad I know called Steve Fletcher, well, oops, I'm a dumbass, I meant to say Chris Fletcher!
Anyway, I've found...
Ey up Chris matey......it's Rich Dale......your Sister Amy's mate!
Well, you asked me the other week at bowling, if I ever used novaload, so here I am.
I'd not done for over a year (since...
ehy up Rob matey and CP.....some more of the Old Skool crew!
Tilly.....I'm not sure I know you, but hi any ways ;)
Dave....cheers, yep, the Cav's quite quick...well, quick enough for now but...
I'll keep popping in, for sure.
I love the Nova Breeny.....saw it at Billing this year.....of course I knew it was your's.....can't think how I knew....rego gave me a clue, lol
Looks ace!
...
Hi Guys and Gals, it's been over a year since I last payed a visit to Novaload, so figured it was about time I popped by to see how you lot are doing.
For those who don't know me (or have...
ade....lol......I knew "pretty" would make you laugh...lol
Worth a try for sure....I'll look into it.
I'll properly de-lock one door anyway...just leaving the temp blank on one.
Lurk.....not...
Cheers lads.
Lurk.....the problem is, I don't have a driveway so when I pop into the house or round the back to get something, I can't leave the car unlocked or with the window down, hence, I need...
Hi lads.....a quick question for you.....where do you get those lock-blanking plates that I've seen on a few Vauxhall's in the past, like those on Mark Freeman's mk2 SR in the January 02 Total...
An Antibes?
I had one up until last year in red with the red carpet.......my carpet was starting to do the same and going slightly orangey in places.
I did both rear arches on one of my previous Novas......the prep work and welding doesn't take that long but the smoothing/filling after can take ages to get right.
It was worth the effort though...
lol
In fact, you live nearer than me to the last party (last Monday) as that was at Mexborough!
If you're serious then I'll let you know about when the next one is.....would be a good laugh ;)...
lol......I had a cushion on my lap.....you know why ;)
The one on the floor is Michelle (21), and the "one on top" is Jenna (17 :))
We had another party at a mates house on Monday....they did...
Bastards!
I hate the fooking little twats.....they're just jealous that you've got a car that they'll never be able to afford 'cos they're so think, they'll never get a job.....bloody wasters! :x
Aragorn is right.....the term rust is ONLY and can ONLY be applied to iron or steel (which is mainly iron with carbon chucked in (in VERY basic terms)), but we know what you mean.
Why not strip...
I've got rear disks on my Cav......not sure if they really make braking any better than the original drums would have, but they look A LOT nicer through the alloys.......I say do it, even if it is...
If you want proof as to what size wheels/tyres are best for handling, just look at what they use in motorsport......no larger than 15's on Novas 'cos anything larger fucks things up.
I'd say no spoiler........I never fitted one on my first Nova and it looked smart.....peeps kept tellin' me it needed one, but I thought otherwise.
I had a GTE lower "flick" and anthracite between...
lol
Here's one for you:

I don't drink lager or bitter mi self......I'm a purely Jack D's bloke (and other similar string stuff).......as my mates know from last Saturday at a party :)
(and again on Wednesday!)
Anyone...
I was meaning how it was previously when Rob Horton had it......it's been in the PNG mags in that form, as seen in this pic:
