Did a 1300 block 1.2 crank and pistons +60 overbore c14se head with webber twin 40's and a kent ast 19 with twin 40 delorto's made it 1431cc goes well and lasted ages

I didn't think the f13 casings had that plate I thought it was the f10 4speeds? F18 will be bigger? As that's a big block gearbox and f13 is small block I'd change complete clutch kit not just...
Is it carb or injection? Could be dodgy pierburg carb! They seize up. Set ignition timing. Check cam timing also basic compression test. Possibly burnt out valve? We're you based I've got 4 1.4...

Yup Gary is right pal there's 2 different length manifolds in sure Simpson did 2 different down pipes for this Edwards must do aswell? The astra mani gives slightly better flow
That's my idea widen the ports up and port and polish it or machine bigger valves in a 1300 sr head

Right I'm building a 1400 engine again.. Want to run twin 40 dellortos the manifold I have has cathedral ports. And the SE head has bigger valves but mpi ports( completely round) as far as I can find...
