nah aint that, i can take the keys out of the car and lock it, i can also remove the ignition switch and disconnect the battery earth, the ignition system and coil are both in good working order

wen i turn the ignition off the car doesnt follow suit

definatly mate, u need to get them in exactly the same position to, otherwise they could wear unevenly, we had a 2.0l cav in the other day that the bloke had done the head gasket himself, but put the...

yeah, it will fit, u need a wiring diagram for both types of car and the plugs from a gsi,u also have 2 run a wire from the ignition coil, its alot of hassle for not alot gain, i just put in a sr...

its definatly not the alarm coz it's seperate from the lights and it woz fitted properly by sextons, ive changed the relays, switch and checked the fuses, the only thing i can think of is that it...

its always worked perfect, but it woz rainin heavy the night it fucked up, but the only changes i've done recently to the electrics is replacing the ignition coil.
