i chopped off all the old wires in the engine bay from the old ECU, i did it with caution though and snipped them one at a time.

I left teh old ECU under the dash though.

Just a quick question, which is better on a 1.6GSI? A K&N or a PiperCross induction kit?

my Mk2 K reg 1.2i merit plus came with a 4 speed box, it was an F10.

I have got a 1.6 in it now with an F13 though.

K&N said that obviously the warranty would not cover damage like that if the mesh has ripped, anyhow, i dont have the receipt as someone gave it to me.

well ive stuck some new plugs and leads in it, (magnecore KV85 and NGK plugs) and i have to say it has made it run one hell of a loty smoother than before.

So is all this stuff about high power...
