could well be the end flange on you r manifold ashley do seem to mess there exhaust up i had a 4 branch off them and 1 off the holes was drilled in the wrong place

what make of exhaust are they i had a ashley once that did the same

if you do it without movin the head you will be fine but remember to instant gasket the cam box back but imoa for what it takes i would remove the head get it skimmed and put a new gasket on at least...

i had the 1.3 sr on my 16 t40s it had the bend in and found it looked better than the straight one

runnin bout 130 not setup still got it is on ebay as well

more likley to be hazard switch i had same problem changed hazard switch and they worked

is the wires comin off it a plug should be straight forward

u would use the normal exhaust route and the box would be transverse this is how we built one on my mates as thr normal exhaust comes over the axle the exhaust should bent off towards the middle and...

have you got a earth strap on the alternator bracket goin to the block???

mine was doing this this week get some1 to rev it and look at the earth strap on the alternator is its sparkin its arcing out on the block

imo i would run a silver top facet pump but as for wirin where have u wired it up from??? plus i take it u put a gsi tank on

standard 1400 sr ignition system seems to respond better now the coil is on

put brand new one on took 4 hours to find a place to get 1 apparently they have stopped makin my coil and now comes with ing module built in an everywhere was tryin to charge between 200-250 quid
