Looks a bit lighter now, new front end to go in I assume.
Thats good news on the box. Hopefully you'll be banging through the gears again soon.
No going back now, looking forward to seeing how these two go back together.
Looks ace.
Any idea when you might get your box? Looking forward to seeing this thing back on the track
What about the speed sensor on the gearbox, that cause the car to stall when pulling to a stop at junctions ifnits not working or disconnected?
Pics in your project thread seem to be working for me.
Looks like you have got away with that one.
Looking good forward to seeing this back out on track.
Just a shame quaife took so long to decide that they couldn't do anything with the old box and give you a refund, could have been sorted weeks ago. How long has it been since they've had it?
Snowplough will be worth some decent money, get it on ebay and it will sell well. Gsi rear not so much as they are the same as all other mk2 except for the exhaust cut out.

My heater matrix blew the other week, sprayed boiling coolant all up my leg. Just swapped it out for a new one in the end.
Cars looking really good out on track, thanks for the video.

Might have something to do with the m32 gearbox has a bad reputation, so people would rather stick with what they know works.
You really are living the dream, seriously impressed
With the prices I think It would be cheaper to buy the bits separately as the prices for astra turbos and vxrs seems to be more then a complete engine, unless you're lucky enough to find a coupe...
I'd be going for a zlet/zleh if I was going turbo power, there is much more available for the engines either in standard form or for tuning.

I'm not jealous at all  I'd love a space like that.

Wish it would stop raining so I can get out and drive the bloody thing
Just adding the little cosmetic bits.
Picked up some window trims yesterday in really good condition.

Version one, look like a crop circle.
Love the seats, you can't beat a bit of kevlar.
Get it chucked in, fix the rust and enjoy the summer.
So back on the dyno today, had some issues last time so had to go back

36hp more then standard, I could probably get another 15 with cams and headwork, but to be...
Look forward to seeing them.
Always good to see things done differently
I couldn't fit 195/50/15 tyres on the back with gaz coilovers
Had to fit 195/45s in the end, as you say the tyre hits the coilover without a spacer, but hits the arch with a spacer, you can't win
