She pulled 135bhp on the rollers,Dave Bogg who rolling roaded it commented on how well it pulled for a 1.6 8v
Hopefully ignition module will make a difference
I can’t see it’s that because I have good compression, cylinder head was flowed/new valves seals and guides/skimmed,all work carried out by reputable company,I have no air leaks on intake manifold
Yeah iv used that set up before but used this set up years ago on another one with no issues
I was using unleaded but had pinking no matter what I did with timing, changed to super unleaded and pinking stopped
Super unleaded fuel and 1.2 dizzy set up
It’s only done 150 mile since head gasket was changed

Cam is set to 105 degrees,crank 10.

Sorry forgot to mention the car was a 1.2 carb so using that ignition set up

I’m running twin 40s which were set up via rolling road, revs well, pulls well but when sat at set speed ie 70mph it stutters like a missing/hesitation,tried new plugs but no different, any ideas

Just for future reference removing just the block and leaving gearbox in the car was a breeze, clutch the lot and no need to pull the shaft,I just removed the crankshaft pulley which left plenty of...

Normally I know you can pull the shaft but mine is the later F13 box that doesn’t have the plate on underside for access to clutch so not sure I can pull the shaft on this box,I will pull the cap off...
