Still looking mint Ewan :)
I am after another Nova. Preferably a MK1 in Sport or SR form however I am open to suggestions! :) (although must be a 3dr hatch)
I don't mind if it needs some mechanical work or some body work...
Looks real well Adrian, unbelievable find.
Any Nova's in my family that where bought brand new always had a pin stripe on them when they collected them. Just something the dealers done along with mudflaps and floor mats.....
I would say the mileage is correct. Jubilee clips, wiper motor etc still have that gold look to them. As for the seat bolster, getting in and out of a car that is used on a regular basis for small 2...
DMB are great and are able to do them very quick. Think it was £7 delivered for this one:

I was very interested in it when the add was active and I had a think about it overnight, but by then the add was off. I rang him and he said it has gone to someone in Ireland.
Id be more worried if it needed welded as opposed to it already having a patch or 2. lol
That guy you sold it too is on here. 'peter gsi' is his user name. :thumb:
EDIT: too slow :(
A man in Letterkenny bought it. I seemed to have quite a few calls from people down south as it is nearly 30 years old and can be put on to a ZV plate soon.
Now sold. :thumb:
I remember seeing a photo of that car before at Donnington I think it was. I always remember it because the plate on my old SR was very similar. lol...
Whatever you think then Andy. I have homework to do. lol
It's a MK1
Polar white (the best colour imo)
Less 3.5k from new.
Plenty of people like it, I don't give a flying **** if you like it or not. I like it which is the main thing. :thumb:
There is no doubt that the car would be a perfect car to convert. But I think it would a shame to do this to my Nova because of the miles and the fact it has only changed slightly in its near 30 year...
I don't think it was the first time that car was nicked. lol
Good luck with the GTi search. :d
£3700 is a lot of money but at least you'll know it will be left right when you get it back on the road. :)
My Nova passed its first MOT in 12/13 years. :)
Maybe the winning bidder turns up to see them and they're not worth taking home. lol
Aye I seen a video of it on here. Looked really well too and I wouldn't be the biggest fan of 4 door 'loons. Is he going to break it now?
I think this car is now dead....
VIDEO LINK REMOVED.
lol
Think there in a Corsa B!
lol
Yea you can get a Scalextric track designer on a CD, that's how I done mine.Have a look on fleabay for it, its not that dear from what I remember.
Yea It does look a bit too much now when I look at lol, but it was great fun. Just don't do what I done a build it where the sun gets in as the plastic track warps.
Here is a track I always...
When I was about 10 I built a permanent layout but I haven't looked at it in a while. The newer Scalextric 'Sport' track has different fittings but you can get a converter pack which allows you run...
