The later block are cast from CGI material, the bores do not wear as badly as the XE/CLET block so wedging a later open deck or a closed deck XEV block would be the better option.

Like I said remove the threaded adapter and use the original CLET sandwich plate that the oil cooler pipes with the CLET adapter with a new 'o' ring, when using an oil...
Just unscrew the central threaded adapter (you will probably damage it) and discard it, the thread in the oil pump housing is the same as the original oil pump so the original sandwich plate will...
