it comes down to your offset of wheel, what tyres you use and is it mk1 or mk2 as mk 2's are slightly wider than mk1 (in the arches).
is lowered 60mm on jst springs or both?
what tyres do you wanna...

offset on Nova's is Deffo ET49, and most vauxhalls, you wanna stay as close to this as possible for less chance of catching but if your going up to 18's then I'm not sure if this will still apply.

jst to add to your thoughts, I bought a mint smooth tailgate in primer strate from a panel beater for 40 with glass, so ?100 is a bit over the top.

where exactly are you? have you got any more pics? where abouts is the welding required?

Right my little nova has finally died and so i'm gonna break it up.

full set of pro tinted windows, dark smoke on back three, light smoke on front. ?100 o-n-o (look real nice)

I'm sick of my heater not working on all the setting so i've jst ripped it all out, but i'm no wiring genius so i don't know what to do.

The dash now is a mk 2 but still has the mk1 plug on the...

the guages are the originals, but its never been rite since i bought the car, always reading high eg: ?5 half tank, ?10 3/4 tank, ?30 well over full tank, but then yesterday morning it was reading...

my fuel guage on my nova seems to have a problem, since yesterday its been ready full all the time except when i go into a roundabout quite fast then it moves down, but when i'm strate it goes up...

check: the plug gaps, leads on correctly and the rite way round, no blockages in the air intake, is the carb set up properly? adjust the fuel/ air mixture skrew to rich, then adjust accordingly.
if...
