If anyone has a decent one goin spare I need one ASAP.
Mine has stretched too far to work properly. It currently measures 25 inch, so would need one that is a little less than that.
Thanks
Yeah, so by the sounds of it, his one is way too big for mine.. We both measured the inner cable, and tip to tip, It's like 6 inches longer.
Any one know the answer? Need to get myself one ASAP really.
Yeah, that's what I mean, from tip to tip, mine is 25 and his is 31
Hi all.
I'm in the market for a throttle cable as mine as stretched beyond the point of working properly.
My cable measures 25 inch (stretched remember) and ive just been offered one that is...
I know it can be done, as I have a 1.2 carb head on my c14se block.. Unfortunately I can't tell you how it was done as it came that way when I bought the car.
The problem is, I didn't fit it, so I have no idea what's going on with this engine, I'm just finding things out as I go along.
I've recently given it. Thorough service, but the previous plugs...
I've taken the carb off at the moment, goin to my mate for a good clean.
Fuel filter is brand new so shouldn't be blocked.
Once it's back I'll see how it goes.
Hi all,
Basically, I've got a c14se, with a 1.2 carb head.
I'm struggling to get it running properly. It doesn't idle well, and when up shifting it bog out for a second before picking up the...
All sorted.. Starter motor jus wasn't having it. Swapped it out, now right as rain.. Just need to get it running properly now..
Yeah, it was running.. It wasn't great but it seems to have gotten worse since I've had it.
Looking at the carb, everything looks good as new, so maybe you're right in saying it's not quite set...
Thanks for the help, I'll check all those bits tonight.
Couldn't tell you the type of carb.. How would I know?
Ah wonderful. How do I go about getting that sorted? Is it gonna cost me a fortune?
Sounds like it's multiple engines fused together! lol
So would could possibly be the factors behind my plumes of smoke, smell of fuel, and only running with the choke open?
Yeah, I'm not sure what he's done, but the block definitely says C14SE, so I'm confused..
The problem with plugging in the sensor on the block is that there is no loose wiring to plug in to it.....
