You'd be probably disappointed with the twin 40s if you didn't put the cam in too
Interesting set up, bit hard to picture quite how it works. Is the beam split in the middle somehow?
I don't think you need the Kent followers and and springs, pretty sure I've got standard ones in mine. It might be an idea to use new followers though as they might be worn. Its generally considered...
The drivers side engine mount is positioned differently in a Diesel, found another thread with pics:

Very impressive, it just looks awesome and unique, a real achievement. Have you taken it out on the open road yet?
Then its probably time to order a new pump.
Well to rule out anything before the pump, put some petrol in a jam jar or something and use a small bit of new pipe to connect it directly to the pump.
Using something to catch the fuel you could disconnect the pipe from the pump to the carb to see if it's working.
A new fuel pump isn't expensive.
Is there an inline fuel filter anywhere between...
Mine just went from one side of the tank to the other and just vents there. It didn't connect to anything. When I rebuilt the car I put a hose on a new tank in the same way.
Open both an ebay and paypal case if you can, I've done that before and was refunded the amount twice. Chances are if the seller isn't responding they will just refund you.
Just checked, 1.5mm pitch
Nyloc nuts? do they do them in 10.9 tensile strength?
Bushes? There's usually just one in the middle, unless I'm mistaken, and going polybush on that one is pretty pointless.
I was being questioned as to why I'd want an old Nova over 15 years ago. Didn't care then, certainly don't now.
Its a work of art that!
Is the exhaust staying like that, won't melt the tyre will it!?
Perhaps having built in forum image hosting will get the site more active again, if its as easy to post pictures as it is on facebook etc.
Yep always interested in seeing pics
What engine is it> carb or injection?
A 4-1 wont make a difference unless its a cat model and you've left the lambda sensor off.
I have that set brand new in box if your interested?
The pipe thats on the filler neck attaches to the tank directly. The smaller diameter hose next to it is the one that runs along the length of the tank and vents to air at the other side.
FFS how many project threads are now totally messed up, I'm assuming most of them (including mine). They might as well have just closed down entirely, as that's whats going to happen now anyway. Same...
Flo flex are crap, however they are the only company that make the spring seat ones (unless things have changed).

Interior back together pic, about as minimalist as its likely to get

I've been meaning to remove the rest of the stereo wiring for ages, so decided to get on with it. I didn't really fancy taking the whole dash out, so just took all the various bits out to get access...
Sounds like a fun project you can do a bit at a time and still drive the car inbetween then, if there's no obvious rust or need for a respray.
