I have a H plate 1.4 SR, the car runs ok on choke for the 1st 10 mins but after that it stalls at every junction and will only continue to run if i keep my foot on the gas, once it...

How would i go about fitting twin 40s to a 1.4SR, is there a guide some where or could someone give me some advise on how to fit, can i use the same manifold etc, would they bolt straight on?

my 1.4 SR has a loss of power and stalls at junctions, i origionally changed the dizzy cap and rotor arm and it solved the problem for about a month, then it started again, the rotor arm was changed...

Do you have to change the jet if you were to upgrade to a K&N bolt on filter for a 1.4 SR carb, if so what size jet and where do you get one from, ive only got the filter. :!:

while we are on the subject of gearboxes will a nova GTE or gsi box fit and work on a 1990 1.4 SR, i may have to change it soon.

try revs magazine, there are usually some advertised in there, look for ccm.
