Ok update on this, car wont start at all now, tries to turn over fine but doesnt go.

I have done a paperclip test and the only code that comes up is 65, which is an afm fault?

The car hasn't been out of the garage for about 5 years so damp shouldnt be a problem. would the maf cause this kind of problem?

Ok i assumed the pump would still work with 10/11 volts. You think it could be right enough and just a weak battery, well its on to charge for the night will see what happens tomorrow. Cheers.
