the belt could be jumping when u try to rev it and going off the timing and cuming back on again, check and see if u can adjust ur idle on the carb to try and get ot to idle a bit better, u check to...

if u get a tank out of a spi nova and put the pump in it it will fit i should think

naw jus put the manifold on the other engine and it should fit

i didnt think there was an earth strap to the chassis, is the engine not earthed to the starter, then the battery and then to the chassis?

u culd fit the sri head an a wber 32/34 carb

does the car start eventually? it culd b a bad connection at the starter, a bad earth or a bad connection at the ignition barrel

put it in gear when the car is not running an then jus get in an depress the clutch and start it an then ul b able to work the clutch as normal

they usually cut in from about 88 to 92 degrees centigrade

yeah check that ur crank sensor lead is plugged an an dat the pulley is free from dirt as that wuld upset them

u culd jus take the auto choke off and play with the throttle until u get it goin in da mrnin and it shuld run ok

if u want some power without a lot of work u could skim the head a bit and get the valve seats 3 angled and clean the ports in the head would give you some extra power

aye mre or less yes coz i can smell the fuel down the exhaust an when u eventually get the car going it backfires but dats just her burning the fuel lol
