just the buttons, i have the loom from a mk 2 but i dont want to mees about changing the centre console. so just the buttons that fit into the mk 1

not the whole of the lip, just 1/2 - 3/4 of it, leaving a small lip left, nothing visable, as it is just the slightest part of the lip that catches the wheel, but too much for it not to be a problem,...

i was thinking of just taking the lips off with a hacksaw and then wet+dry it to a smooth finish, what do we think?
