It'll fit no problem providing your car has a carb already. It's just a case of removing the old carb, fitting the new one and having it tuned up really!

I think a brand new manual choke cable from Vauxhall was around ?30 last time I bought one. You could go to a scrappy and pull one from a manual choke Nova for much less I think!
Sorry, I forgot to mention: It doesn't come with manual choke cables etc. It's just basically the carb plus manifold adapter!
Weber 32/34 DMTL plus manifold adapter. It's remained boxed since I bought it (second hand about 6 months ago) so it might be an idea to give it a clean out/service before use.
I'm looking for...
I'd go with Janspeed. Decent quality and not deafening at low revs. As I recall, I've got a mild steel system on my SR (1.4) with a 3.5" back box. Lovely sound and seemed to improve power a bit but...
Haha. With stories like that, why would you stop drinking?!
Nice! I'm quite fond of the blue backlit dash, looks shiny :)
I'd start with changing the spark plugs, leads and dizzy cap. Unless it's been recently serviced?
Afternoon all! I'm looking for some Astra GTE ATE brake calipers (with or without discs and pads) or similar calipers (Corsa GSi?).
I'm also looking for a GSi front bumper either in black or...
For I have defeated the bastard waterpump that had seized in the engine block! It really feels incredible when the pump just falls out after battering it to death with a long breaker bar!
Just...
The carbon canister is usually on the passenger side though? I think it's more likely to be the secondary horn (GSi's are multitoned, at least mine was!). It should be held on by a bracket that has...
I think heat might be a good idea. I knew I bought a blowtorch for some reason!
Yes and yes. The entire side of the engine has been stripped. Unless there's a bolt I've missed, I've got all three allen bolts next to me!
Help! I need help! Bloody waterpump is seized in the block. I've tried all manner of lump hammers, crowbars, chisels etc to remove it but no luck so far. One thing I haven't tried is getting behind...
Haha, thing is I can't get anywhere to get any tools so I've got to make do with what I've got! I'll probably tighten up the pulley bolt as much as I can myself then take it to a garage to...
Cheers! Solved it another way - wedge breaker bar on car body whilst attached to the bolt, spin starter over.
RESULT!
How the fuck do you get the pulley off? Tried it with a breakers bar and it just turns the engine. Tried holding it at the camshaft bolt but the camshaft bolt just undoes itself instead!
It's a...
This I can confirm is true! Made a fair bit of noise by doing this to a 1.2 carb :)
Besides, I still think my old 1.4SR made more induction noise with a 32/34 Weber and a K&N than my GSi with...
Any Weber dealer should be able to supply with one but, as I recall, they're fairly expensive for what they are! I bought another as I managed strip one of the stud holes of all its thread and a new...
Heh. I'm after one as well. Found this website through Google though you might want to check out your local DAP, mine do these for about ?230.

Right. Thanks for clearing that up. Seems quite silly though.
Carbs tend to kill CATs though, especially DCOEs.
This is interesting. What would the regulations and rules be regarding a K plate C14SE engine converted to run twin 40 DCOE's?
Don't bother mate. Just tell them "At least it's still running!".
A well running Nova with high mileage is more impressive than a low mileage banger, I think.
Nearly new from Vauxhall, used it once. No wires or anything with it though, should be easy to make some up. Cost ?90 new.
AK type for late 8v and 16v dashs.
?25 ono plus ?2.00 P&P
PM or...
