Front and back working on each side?
Did you get it on the dyno?
Really enjoyed reading your build, cant wait to see it stretching its legs.
One question - are you sure your air intake is going to work ok at high speeds? It follows the contours of your arch...
Looks like you can also click at the bottom for quick resizes

Hey Stuart, that was a good read.
One thing confuses me though - in the first post you talk about how organic or ceramic compounds will shield your caliper from the worst of the heat, but then...
Yeah, from what I can find it looks like the ports would match up but the bolt holes are different.
Dont you blank the waterways for carbs anyway?
Im a bit confused as to what im looking at. . .fig.1 is the inlet manifold for my engine i take it - is fig.8 the 1.6 inlet youre talking about?
Or, this style of inlet comes in 2 parts?
I've got a set of r1 carbs ready to roll with, just need to get a manifold made. Was planning to use megajolt or squirt
I've got myself a z18xe I should be dropping in this summer, which is supposed to come with a F17 box (although I cant find the marking).
Do the standard inners fit or will they need swapped?
No worries
Are those the 308mm discs? Will you get them under 15s?
Do you know if the loon wings will fit a mk1 5 door hatch? If so id be interested
Great photos! Thanks a million bud
Thanks mate, still pretty new to this so if its not in the haynes manual im pretty lost! ^^
After looking at my trusty haynes manual I discovered that I dont seem to have the adjustment bolt on the drum plate, and my hubs feel pretty tight.
What should I do?
Cheers
Which bit? I think its just metal and plastic
Alright, cheers
How does it come off? Has open and close arrows indicating it be twisted off, but ive put a lot of force on it and dont wanna break it. Also dont see screws which ive heard gte/gsi tanks are supposed...
you still got it?
Gsi ones have 2 little upright plates with bolt holes at the front of the seat from what i understand
From your thread looks like youve got 1 gsi subframe?
nope, got em
