when was the engine last running and how does it sound?
engine last ran three years ago and was sweet as a nut!!! sounds nice with the carbs and cam also when I fitted the cam etc I lapped all the valves in fitted new stem seals and lifters/followers etc.

Is the manifold of the Dell'orto's similar to the Webber's?
I think so mate should be the same.
