in short no.
i had a full blow arugument with tge insurance comany cos i had 2 years on my ped
thats a shame, I'm just trying to help my brother find cheaper insurance after he comes back of tour from Afghan
I'm sure a mate of mine did this a few years ago with Hastings Direct.

This used to annoy me. They would never honor bike NCB on a car policy. Yet if I had made a claim on a bike it would count against me. Doesn't seem right to me.
i did this when i passed my test 5 years ago and ive now got 8 years ncb
A minority of insurers will allow this, most will not though.
So go with a minority for the first year then whoever the year after
I did try and use my bike Ncb, direct line said they won't allow me to use it, but Churchill said they will take it into account and did give m some money off but didn't actually give me a no claims discount if that makes sense
