Written By Nick. I have used this guide myself, and it works 100%. The pic at the bottom is of my car :thumb:

Tools Required:
Drill and 8ish mm drill bit
Measuring tape
8mm Spanner/Socket for the stud nuts
Double sided trim tape or Tigerseal(silicone adhesive)

Firstly, here is a CAD drawing that i drew up showing the measurements required to drill the holes in the correct place.

Use these to check the position of your holes once you have done the step below !

EXTERNAL DIMENSIONS

W - point A 700mm
W - point B 1240mm

X - point A 895mm
X - point B 970mm

Y - point A 965mm
Y - point B 895mm

Z - point A 1245mm
Z - point B 695mm

INTERNAL DIMENSIONS

W - point A 700mm
W - point B 1230mm

X - point A 890mm
X - point B 960mm

Y - point A 960mm
Y - point B 890mm

Z - point A 1230mm
Z - point B 700mm

ADDITIONAL DIMENSIONS

top of tailgate - W = 60mm
top of tailgate - X = 61mm
top of tailgate - Y = 60mm
top of tailgate - Z = 57mm
As you can see, the CENTER of each hole is measured diagonally back to corner B and corner A. Use a soft material tape measure, and push it flat onto the shape of the tailgate and measure. The idea is that, the ends of the lines will only meet at one certain point.
Get a mate to help you, and when you've got the soft tape to the right length, use a pen to draw an arc as you move the tape in a circular motion ! Or you could use some string cutt to the right length with a pen tied on the end.
This way you'l construct an ARC from point A and point B, these arcs will only cross in one point, This is the point where the hole should be drilled. It's basically like using a pair of compasses - but obviously this is a substitute lol
To cross reference this, i have included some additional dimensions, from the side and above. use these to check the position of the diagonals. You may have to "split the difference" but they should all line up in a straight line. I have provided the measurements from the same corners but on the inside of the tailgate. As you can see the measurments are what you'd expect, the far left hole mirrors the far right hole e.t.cHere are some pics giving the points where i measured from.

On the corners, i measured from the very tip of the curved edge. Obviously i held it tight and flush to the tailgate, but this is just a demo pic.

I layed the tape down paralell near the hole, and measured from the edge of the tailgate . Then i measured between the centres of the holes.

REMEMBER THE MEASURMENTS ARE TO THE CENTRE OF EACH HOLE. the DIAMETER of each holes is roughly 8mm.
Once you have the holes marked up, and your 100% sure there right, carefully drill the marked holes. This may take quite a while as some parts of the boot skin are quite thick. Like so:http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v626/j829nick/IMG_0892.jpg
Repeat this on all of the holes
Once all the holes are drilled(all 8), test fit the spoiler, if you've got it spot on it should drop right into place. If it doesn't, dont worry, see where its not fitting and enlarge the holes slightly to give yourself some adjustment.
When its fitting well, apply double sided tape/tigerseal to the underside of the spoiler, and around the stud holes (to make them watertight)
Fit the spoiler, and tighten the nuts on the inside of the boot. These are only small and only need nipping up, else you will strip the thread.Sit back and admire your work :)

How do you mean mate?
Measure 142 FROM the edge of the boot?
And then double check that the other measurements between the marks seem about right

right got dark trying again tomorrow but tonight we got center of boot measured the two middle holes measured out towards edges 335mm and then from point W to edge of boot and it came shorter than 142 ill try tomorrow to double check another thing is

should
top of tailgate - W = 60mm
top of tailgate - X = 61mm
top of tailgate - Y = 60mm
top of tailgate - Z = 57mm

be
top of tailgate - W = 60mm
top of tailgate - X = 55mm
top of tailgate - Y = 55mm
top of tailgate - Z = 60mm

since the spoiler is sermetrical sp
