that looks ace fella. so little done but a massive improvement from standard. and not a stupid big bumper or max power sticker in sight. i like it.:thumb:
also got a gsi bumper sat in garage with fogs and splitter, i may paint grey and fit, unsure at the min
n0va_dan
02-12-06, 03:18 PM

also got a gsi bumper sat in garage with fogs and splitter, i may paint grey and fit, unsure at the min
i wouldnt do that mate. its your car obviously but the only thing i would put on that is a bad boy bonnet (not everyones taste) and obviously carry on twith the 2 litre conversion. its a brilliant sleeper like it is. just out of interest how much did you pay for it as standard as i may follow your footsteps. finding a decent white nova is harder than i thought it would be.
Ricky G
02-12-06, 03:23 PM
and please leave that side strip on. it breaks the car up a little bit and just looks right!
vaughanmc
02-12-06, 05:28 PM
set of mudflaps on would look good
no, keeping the smoked headlights, not having quad lights, and not keen on black bonnet or a bay boyed one...
yes the side strips are staying on, along with all the badges
and yes, im want a set of 4 gm mud flags for it
Fitted a GSI front bumper...
was red gave it a quick lick of halfrauds dark grey bumperpaint...
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5083/DSCI0002.JPG
unsure of it at the moment, if i keep it, probably spray it rover hurricane grey, same as wheels,
also the grille option, not got one for it, so either find a gsi one, or bodge a late type badge-less one onto it
or i might even put the original back on
choice's choice's....
Matt2107
12-12-06, 12:53 PM
GSI bumper looks nice.
How about using the same spray on the mirrors?
the bumper is a diff colour to arches and rear, though it may of been a close match but no lol...
want bumpers, mirrors sprayed rover hurricane grey adventually....
Matt2107
12-12-06, 01:02 PM
Thats a shame... it must just be my monitor but the bumper looks spot on for the same colour as the arches.
It looks quite good without a grill as well.
You could smooth the semi circle bit in the GSI bumper and just leave it grill less?
ANDYRACER
12-12-06, 04:49 PM
Should look good with all the grey bits painted rover hurricane grey, personally id fibreglass that circle bit in the bumper and fit a badgeless grill and also get a smaller number plater.
Nice ste.
Deffo do the bumpers etc hurricane grey.
Wait till after winter do them tho, because stonechips etc
ste as said on corsasport i know of a gsi in scrappers if the grill is still there tomorrow ill get it you
what time you on work tomorrow ?
9-5 tomorrow..
but going mates work to use the 2 poster, to do brakes and fit exhaust hopefully
right ill give you a text then it i get it
looks god ste, not sure on the gsi bumpe at the minute but will ook loads better when sprayed along with everyting else
right ill give you a text then it i get it
nice one fella, cheers :thumb:
looks really nice that ste, some good work, the bumper does need repainting though lol
Its turning into a bubble version of the nova lol
Good work Ste, keep it up!
thats the plan in the long run, similar style to the nova...
thinking gsi skirts for in, sprayed same as bumper and wheels lol
Stanley
12-12-06, 08:58 PM
Lookin good!
Gloss black for bumpers/skirts IMO!
and also a set of new reg plates would tidy up the car alot (standard font of course:thumb:) - you dont notice till you get em as to how much difference they make
Really need to get crackin with my Corsa too......
Got a set of GM mudflaps on the SRi i'm breaking if you are interested?
got the front and back lee? how much you want?
Yes, don't know what they are worth though. Will take them off tomorrow and check condition.
Pic's of the cav im using for the conversion....

does the bay need welding on the corsa?
does the bay need welding on the corsa?
i would say yes, id get any engine bay welded up when swapping engines
nova-boy-belfast
10-03-07, 10:48 PM
how far have you the coil overs wound down mate
no engine bay doesn't need welding up on a corsa, but i'll probably fit the strenghening plates adventaully
coilovers are halfway down
Graeme789
11-03-07, 01:06 AM
looks so gd, just remove the rub strips and leave it like that for the outside and i actually prefer them with no gsi spoiler but that obviously personal choice!
no, side strip's are staying, for the sleeper look
Graeme789
11-03-07, 02:30 AM
well the spoiler needs to come off if ur going for sleeper look! :D
do not change aperance(sp) at all, looks mint
maybe a late spec black plastic bumper ???? the rounder one
XE it, then show the VTS boys how its done lol
well the spoiler needs to come off if ur going for sleeper look! :D
not really, lot of base models had spoilers :p might aswell lose the alloys and suspension, and exhaust then

when im bored of the sleeper look
i do npt understand this statement
the way you use the words makes it sound like its possible to get bored of a sleeper, which cant be true ofcourse
i did with the nova, hence ending up putting gsi bumper and skirts on it ;)
quick photoshop of how it could look :)
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5608/irmscherblack.jpg
not keen on the splitter looks abit cheap tbh
ide keep it as it is
really like it ste, looks better than the gsi front
Ricky G
18-03-07, 03:05 PM

been having problems with gear linkages, the bar the goes across, that does the side to side engagment off the gear's kept poping off.. so kept getting stuck with just 3/4 gear, as it had no side movements..
whipped it off today and had a look. noticed it was split where the ball joint goes, hence why it kept poping off.
http://www.corsasport.co.uk/carimages/5083/broken_linkage.JPG
luckly i had a spare linkage in garage to used that one, much better now
also gave the garage a tidy
