Guys i need your help, i have fitted a remote system to lock/unlock my novas central locking via a remote. There is an output to activate the indicators on lock and unlock, this is where my problem lies. I am only able to connect it to either the left side or the right NOT BOTH. If i connect both left and right to the output, when i switch the indicators on (either left or right) both sides flash together. So any ideas on how i can get left/right indicators to flash on lock/unlock and still be able to have the indicators functioning properly.

nope you need 2 relays to make it work there is no point on a nova loom where the indicator feeds are joined except when the hazzard light switch is in the on position

ste, I have a spare indicator relay could this be used to overcome my problem.

Use two diodes, feed the locking unit pulse to both diodes and connect the other end of the diodes to the indicator live (thats how alarms are wired) if the diodes are the right way round the indicators will flash together with the locking but seperately with the switch. ;)
