I fitted a set of Lockwoord white dials amd while i left them to dry my young sister decided to run around the house at 120MPH. She was very thoughtfull though, cause when she parked up again, she decided i needed some petrol, So she gave me a full tank! I got the speedo to read correct (Me thinks!) but i aint sure about the petrol, when should the yellow light come on (position of needle on dial) i cant really remember. Any ideas on how to make sure its reading right?

My sister put the petrol needle to full and she also moved the speedo needle.

orange light should go off at half the red, speedo is 4000rpm = 80mph (1.3sr/1.4sr)

less rpm for 80mph you need to check on a gte/gsi i don't have one to hand right now

The speedo can be a right bugger the calibrate, once the needle has moved.
In my previous Nova, I gave up trying to get it right, and got a new speedo!
It knocked 15K off the mileage lol! (speedo was from a much newer Nova!)

The petrol gauge should be ok though.
When I was doing my white dials (home made - I'm not paying that much!), I knocked my gauges around all over the place, including my fuel.
If left for a while, it very slowly moved back to the minimum position. That's in an older dash though, without the yellow LED.
