i need a list of all the parts needed to convert the brakes from the standard 1.0 to either GSI cavalier or 16v calibra, or any othe car which will make an easier conversion, i just need bigger brakes!

Go for Nova GSi discs, calipers and pads, thats all u will need. Just make sure u have deep\big alloys cus the caliper is alot bigger and the wheels won't fit if they are steelies or SR alloys...

well hes probably not got enough momney to mod a gsi like yourself so hes starting with a base model like most people do.

besides a 1.0 has less chance ov being thrashed in previos life than a gsi/gte/sr etc etc

Thank u Micky. Us 1.0 owners are usally young drivers like myself (17) and cant afford GSI's. But we can dream so we mod 1.0s. Sorry had to do that!!! Bad Day!!!

oh and by the way, going back to your question m8, Novatakers right. Nova GSI's will be fine, coz are 1litres dont weight as much so u'll be able to stand it on its nose!

disks, calapers and new bolts or thred lock 10mm and 7mm allen keys copper grease and normal grease

I would go for the 2.0 16v brakes, mainly because the sliders don't constantly sieze up like on the other types. You will need at least 14" wheels to get them on though, not the GSI/GTE 3 spokes. (don't quite fit). If you upgrade to a larger engine you will already have the brakes to cope.

the reason im doing this is coz there will soon be a 2.0 16v under the bonnet
