View Full Version : Laguna Splitter On Mk1 SR Bumper

Has any1 fitted a Laguna splitter to a MK1 SR front bumper? Firstly how does it look? Secondly whats the best way to attach it to the bumper- pot rivett, self tappers, nut & bolt?????? Any info related to fitting the splitter would be appreciated!

drill a small hole and use self tappers (about 15 should be enough)

I made my front splitter out of the top of a MK1 rear bumper! Looks ace tho.

i always thought a golf vr6 one mounted up to the 1st swageline from the bottom ov the mk1 sr bumper would be nice
(well it looks nice in my head and i havent actually havent done it yet)

try fitting a splitter of a tigra font bumper looks superb but very low watch those speed bumps ;)

i have a mate who put the bottom part of a cav gsi bumper on his mk1 bumper, have a look on corsaweb under 'Ryan Coombes'

i have done this modification and it looks the mutts nuts, as long as you have the lower valence that is attached to the sr models. believe me its very low, so make sure you dont colour code it, because it will scrape right off. or you could wait a week and see mine when its featured (as soon as i can afford to get the photos developed)
