A nice black nova with a facelift front end, a nice shiny rebuilt engine with performance cam and head, and a new interior (and a persian rug).

Just waiting for that genie at HSBC to ring back

:D

He He.

Ian. i don't think i could convince insurance company that a valver is actually a 1.4

Whereas a head and cam wouldn't be noticed by them and take me close to 3 figure BHP territory.

And seen as the engine is in absoluute pieces in my mates garage, i might aswell do it.

Simple choice for me....Porsche 928 S4.
Look on Auto trader web site, and see how cheep they are....many less than ?10K!

Insurance isn't bad either, but just hope some blind twat doesn't reverse into you door, and drive off without leaving their details (like happened to me on Wednesday...b*stard! got his reg from CCTV now though, so I'll get the twat!)....not when a new door costs ?2350!!! I KID YOU NOT ?2.3K for a bloody door!
Front wings are only ?1175 each though, and a bumper is only ?822.50!

rich threaten them with police for driving off, as leaving the scene of an accident carries 8-10 points!!!!!

The nova SR is on it's way my friend. Just ordered a cam kit from Courtenay. Looking at lightening and balancing the crankshaft and getting a new cylinder head.

And trying to book tracktime for Trax. Sod sand i'll play in the gravel pit LOL.

Still trying to sort out the bodywork though. Can't decide what vent to put in the bonnet. Getting rid of that rusty wing aswell :D

ok.....I'll forget the Manta idea, though they aren't that heavy, and with a valver fitted, they'd be reliable. Well, I still like 'em....rear wheel drive for a start, which is a good thing, and I love the looks.
I best not mention my other car :'>
