View Full Version : Door Speakers???

I'm about to buy front door speakers for my nova sr. I havn't yet got electric windows so the window winder is still there. My current interior is SR interior but soon want to get GTE door cards. What is the maximum size speaker I can put in, bearing in mind that the door pocket is still there and the window wiper is still there, any help is greatly appreciated.

i seen loads with yer standard 6"round speakers in the doors - so that should go in easy enough - thats wots in mine.
any bigger and it may cause you problems.

What, even though i've still got window winders? How far down do you put yours in??

6.5 inch eminence mini subs in mine just fitted a set of 8's in a mates

as cambridge says - down towards the bottom far enough so they dont get hit.

I used to have a picture of a green nova with 1*12" sub and 1*8" and 1*4" speakers in the rears of the doors!!! talk about overkill!!!!!

2.0 16v on its way soon!!!! :D
