i have taken the rear seats out of me car and i want to build boxes that cover the inner arch on the car and travel all the way up to the door pillar..

how do u go about building these and how to you build a false floor to cover the "rough" area left behined where my seats and carpet used to be :D

as well as this how to you make sure the enclosures stay secure in the car?? screws? glue??

wheres a good place to buy quality carpets to cover these areas too?

i know sweet f all so please help peeps

i am as clueless as you are - however...
could built false floor with mdf.
hold in place with glue and screws... nice and safe.
carpet i dunno though...

ICE shops of yer modding shop will have suitable carpet. BUT its sodding expensive!!

just use yer imagination, powerfile and bit o MDF and just fettle till your happy with the shape/design

yeah it sounds like your gonna need alot of carpet and that costs loads.

That is one thing I can never work out, how do you attach the flase floor to the car floor? do you screw through the car floor or just use strong glue?
I made one for a mate with an astra and we just let the weight of the floor and the sub on top hold it down, undernesth there were loads of bits of wood acting as legs to keep it at the right height, just high enough to go over the top of his amp.
