one? i think there is going to be more matey :D basically they are similar to tranisters, when you put them in a power amplifier circtuit they increase the current to the loudspeaker hence more power :) (oooh god i did learn something in A level electronics lol)

infact they arent similar to tranistors, they ARE transistors :D and pretty much all amps these days have mosfet amps/power supplies. they are capable of taking a bigger current drain than std trannys.

mosfet also means that the amp went draw to much voltage/current from the battery!

ah the old gate, source and drain transistor! they is a modern day bjp transistor and are very good iccle devices.

er old?? well yeah the idea and design is old but they are still "hi-tec" if that possiable for more than 5 mins in this day and age!! lol
