View Full Version : Dumb Ass with a Sony Head Unit

Can i run 6 speakers through my Sony head unit without using Amps... I have some really weak Kenwoods at the front in the side panels of the doors but wanna add 6*9s in the front parcel shelf above the footwell... can i just run wires off the wires going to the Kenwoods in the door panels to the 6*9s in the front and make them all work?? will this lose power or what?

I am not sure for definate but I would say u will lose power.

it works ive done it at back with my 6*9s and standard speakers, you do lose a bit of power.

it wont be lost. it will be shared so you can then give it some. and if you set it up right it will be ace. remember to box in the 6*9's in the shelf!!! or you wont get any bass at all!!!

err how you gonna fit 6x9s in the front parcel shelf, I was going to but found the drivers side to small and they would have to face down losing all the treble anyway or foul your legs.
