Ive got my basic system sorted now
Pioneer headunit, 4x Kenwood 80w comnponents, 2x JBL 6x9s 160w, 2X10inch Jeson subs, Kenwood 400w 4 channel amp. The problem is the system doesn't seem to have any bass because the components are too loud, should i go for more amps to power the subs better or a equaliser to fade out the treble of the components??? IF so which amps???

an equaliser will sort you out. or if your head unit is up to it fade them from there. you could run your components from your head unit and that way you can set it all up there. that way you will get some bass. i hope you have bridged the amp to get a little more oomph into the subs!!!!!

I'd chuck 2 of the 80w things and have 2x80w up front, JBL 6*9's on an MDF back shelf, subs boxed in boot and bridge the amp to run the subs and run the 4 full range speakers from the amp.

Outcome: fucking shitloads of bass and still plenty of volume.

Cheers should be getting a legacy 1000w amp to give it some more, but now my battery keeps going flat!!!

Buy my Kenwood amp to run the bass, 360w bridged and has its own sub crossover built in. To you ?90.:D

Plese don't let busses pull out.
