Gonna be stripping the Cavs interior to prepare it for the bodyshop.

While the seats are out, I wanna get them valeted/cleaned. What is the best upholster cleaner to use on the Cav SRi's grey velour seats?

Never used any cleaners beore so have no idea where to begin.

I used a Vax on my Astra GTE seats and they came up like new. You wouldn't believe the amount of 'ming' that came out of them. Definately worth a whirl if you can borrow one :thumb:

Yeah, a wet vac came to mind but I don't know anyone with a Vax or a steam cleaner.

Heard something about a vanish solution which is meant to be good to shift dirt.

Rent a rug doctor and do your gaffat the same time! Or if you live with the 'rents, convince them it was their idea and ask whether you can put a tenner in and borrow it for a couple of hours. May also work with housemates/girlfriend etc lol

Well the Cav is my dads and we want it to be absolute MINT when done, So it must be spotless inside and out. The interior is pretty clean but just want it totally clean.

So maybe able to convince renting one.

Really can't wait for it to be done.

Buy a Numatic carpet shampoo machine(George) only £159 and last for years, just repalced my old one that was 12 years old, worth the investment. 5 liters of heavy duty carpet cleaner for £13 lasts ages:thumb:

We have always used Autoglym interior shampoo and a wet vac at work with really good results but they have know realsed a product called Fabric stain remover which personally I think is the Dogs danglies. Had to wet vac a corsa c the other day and honestly the seats looked ready for the skip but they came up like new:thumb:

Zappatrazz should be able to answer this since he has the same guitar as I do now, but what is the best cleaner/polish to use for something with a mahogany body?

Wtf?

pmsl!, also to add my 5p's worth, G101 is the ****, we use it at Bentley, the stuff can be used on anything from wheels to upholstery lol

edit, you can always add smoke machine scent fluid to the wet vac so the fragrance infuses into the upholstery, somthing like this

for interior cleaning, look no further than autosmart - g101, brisk, biobrisk, all will do the job
