ok the heater matrix is follow the wires from the back of the blowers switch (knob) and you will find a black box its directly underneath the middle of the dash next to your clutch pedal u can open that box and there is like honeycomb thing thats wats could be blocked

has it been sat for a while ? the blower under the bonnet can seize up whcih leads to popping a fuse

open the bonnet, take the black plastic panel off between the bulkhead and scuttle and see if the motor spins freely

Does the blower work on maximum only, or not at all?

test the wires going into the back of the blower switch with a electic tester its like a screwdriver but it lights up when there is a live

and where is that resistor??

comman problem on novas isnt it, the fan thing just above the firewall in the engine, take off the black casing and there should be 3 small wires i think, they are the wires for the settings 1 2 3 just change them should be fine
