My mk2 didnt come with a clock as standard, i presume the wires for it are already there but where?

they should be taped down behind the dash.If you take the bit off around the clock and the 2 airvents you mite be able to see them then.

Nice one,if you wouldnt mind please,just im in the same boat as you lol but i have a mk1 clock with orange hands that i want to keep

Here ya go, Ive just brought a Brand new mk1 clock to try and figure a way of making it fit (plastic welding i think)

Not the best pic but you get the idea. the mk1 is also not as deep as the mk2, plus lots of other things lol.

Andy - I plan to start on it soon, will prob end up as another thing i dont finish.

Max - I use a electric soldering iron with a plastic weld tip, google plastic welding and im sure it will tell you all you need to know.

The wires for the clock are taped up to the front of the heaterbox in most cases, along with the cig lighter wiring if thats not already there too, so a bit of feely pokey down the back of your dash is needed!
