rev counter?

anyone know anything about the rev counters on a digital dash? mines just stopped working for some reason checked the wires are connected properly and there is a live goin to the wire and to to back of the dials, i was tidying the wires up under the dash i may have knocked something, is there a sensor or something for it presuming it runs off the ecu or coil? help would be great thanks

There should only be one wire to it going from your coil to the clocks depending on your engine/setup/coil tis the green one!

forgot to mention im running a c20let engine, the green one is connected, with the wire located near the ecu
